The Invermay Research Center in Otago, New Zealand, working with the Universities of Canterbury and Otago, has found that the use of deer antler velvet optimizes cell growth and promotes key immune system functions. It has also verified the presence of the growth-promoting hormone factors IGF-1 and IGF-2 in antler velvet. Japanese (1988) and Russian studies (1974) also indicate the powerful age-defying and performanceenhancing abilities of this nutrient.
