I do not understand how anyone can expect meals consisting of such lifeless products as coffee and doughnuts to produce a good working body.

Psyllium, a natural bulk laxative, is commonly found in many over-the-counter laxatives available today. Psyllium contains mucilagins that are beneficial as both a laxative and an anti-diarrheal.

Psyllium is useful for restoring normal bowel functions and promoting healthy colon functions. The nutritional benefits of psyllium are great for cleansing the large intestines, expelling toxins from the body and aiding constipation and diarrhea.

Psyllium may be used to treat irritable bowel syndrome and reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Psyllium may also be used to treat hemorrhoids and yeast infections.

In addition, psyllium may be used to relive intestinal inflammation which can be caused by indigestion, as well as stomach and duodenal ulcers.

    Recommendations
Take two capsules with meals twice daily.

Psyllium Hulls is a member of the plant family plantaginaceae, also referred to as plantago. The hulls are the most often used part of the psyllium plant. The nutritional benefits of this plant are enjoying a surge of interest in America, but the benefits have been known to other cultures for centuries. The plant is particularly popular in the U.S. due to concern about the effects of our nation's highly refined, high-fat diet on colon health. Psyllium has the highest level of soluble fiber known--more than eight times that of oat bran. Encapsulated psyllium hulls are a convenient way to add important fiber to the daily diet.
