Essential fatty acids (EFAs) play a significant role in our health. Among other things, they aid growth and reproduction, support proper kidney function and adrenal health, and support immunity. EFAs cannot be created from other components---they must be found in the diet.

Benefits

  • Provides nutritional support to the female reproductive system, particularly before menstruation when mild mood changes, breast tenderness, cramps and swelling can occur.
  • Plays a role in proper nerve development and function.
  • Supports the circulatory system.
  • Helps maintain proper liver function.

Our Product Advantage
The three oils in this formulation are the rich sources of GLA available.

Ingredients
Super GLA contains evening primrose, black currant and borage oils. Each capsule contains 130 mg of gamma-linolenic acid.

Recommendations
Take 1 capsule with a meal three times daily.

Complementary Products

Nutritional:   Flax Seed Oil, Monthly Maintenance, Brain Protex, Cardio Assurance, Immune Stimulator
     Homeopathics:   Menstrual, PMS
Essential Oils:   Rose Bulgaria, Lavender, Rosemary, Clary Sage

How Does it Work?
Super GLA provides generous amounts of essential Omega-6 fatty acids (both linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid) from evening primrose, black currant and borage oils. In the body, these can be converted into eicosanoids. These hormone-like compounds regulate many important bodily functions and processes. These include maintaining blood pressure and platelet aggregation levels that are already within normal ranges, supporting immunity, and regulating gastric secretions and hormonal responses to nerve impulses. In addition, eicosanoids play a role in increasing lean muscle mass and decreasing body fat. Three important eicosanoids are prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes.

Scientific Data
Research shows that Omega-6 essential fatty acids help maintain the health of the heart, and liver and nerve cells.
