How Does it Work?
DHA is a fatty acid that is absorbed into the fatty perimeter of cells. There it exerts its biochemical properties.DHA is highly concentrated in the brain and retinal neural tissues. It is required for brain development and important in maintaining and protecting the neural tissues.

Scientific Data
Researchers have found a correlation between high levels of dietary DHA and the development of cognitive skills in children. In adults, DHA may help support brain tissue health. Research has shown that daily dietary DHA intake is lowest among women in the United States compared to women in Europe or Japan.
